HOTEL FACILITIES & SERVICES: Try Durley House dining. Although Durley House has no restaurant, it offers 24-hour room service of meals prepared by its own chef and served by the hotel's butlers. Dinner, - for one or a group - is announced by the sound of a traditional old service lift and served by a waiter at an antique dining table. For those wishing to entertain, the hotel will organise private cocktail and dinner parties within the privacy of its guests suites.
The menu extends from snack items such as penne pasta with fresh tomato and basil sauce, chicken Caesar salad, fresh soup of the day, or a wide variety of sandwiches, bagels and baguettes. If you are feeling a little more hungry, you may be tempted by the deep fried haddock and dill fishcakes accompanied by a crisp side salad, or grilled chicken breast with mustard mash and mange tout? Having made your choice and ordered, a waiter will appear to lay your dining table, ready to serve your meal in the privacy of your own suite. Alternatively, should you wish to cater for yourself, each of the Durley suites have their very own kitchen.
