When you arrive in Malaga continue towards Motril and take the exit marked P. de Sancha - Limonar at Km 244. When you reach the first crossroads, turn left, pass underneath the motorway and turn left again towards Ronda Malaga - Algeciras.

When you rejoin the motorway, leave it at the next exit (Km 243, Fuente Olletas - Ciudad Jardin). Follow this road which goes downhill and passes through the Monte Dorado Tunnel. Continue for 200 metres and then take the left hand lane as far as the Lidl Supermarket. Opposite the entrance to the supermarket, turn left and continue along this street (Escritor Antonio Ramos) until joining the Malaga-Colmenar road.

Turn left and follow this road for approximately 12 km. After going through two tunnels you will arrive at the roadside restaurant Venta El Detalle (km 548-549). Leave the road and continue along an unpaved track until you reach the Cortijo La Reina Hotel. SHOW MAP

ACCOMMODATION: The Cortijo La Reina Hotel has two buildings with the following facilities: 10 double-rooms with bathroom and a suite with jacuzzi on the top floor of the main building and 2 bedrooms with bathroom and flat terrace in one of the outbuildings. Some of the bedrooms are equipped with a fireplace or a salamander stove, airconditioning and heating, television, telephone, minibar, safebox, bathroom with heating.

HOTEL FACILITIES & SERVICES: The Cortijo La Reina Hotel is placed in a garden full of very old trees. It has a swimming pool, a tennis court, pelota court, minigolf course, French bowls and a playground for children. The Hotel has also an under cover parking for its guests.

The common areas are well-equipped for our guests to feel comfortable. There are fireplaces, salamander stoves, air-conditioning and heating. On the ground floor there is a lounge with two fireplaces, a bar with a game room, a private restaurant, an Andalusian kitchen, a billiard room, a game room with a fireplace, a restaurant for breakfast, a barbecue, a cellar, a restaurant with a fireplace, a kitchen and other rooms.
