DININGS & BARS: No.27 The Green has established itself as one of the finest restaurants in Ireland. It is not only renowned for the quality and creativity of its food but also the informed, pleasant and enthusiastic service that awaits its patrons. Set in Dublin’s most elegant Edwardian dining room, the unequalled splendour of No 27 is matched only by the care and effort that goes into satisfying even the most discerning palate. The philosophy of the restaurant is to provide food of the highest international standard utilising superb quality Irish ingredients and complimenting this with an extensive list of world wines. No 27 is available for private lunch and dinner for groups of 60 people (Monday and Tuesday only).

The Restaurant offers a creative menu that ranges from sushi to pasta to confit of duck at refreshingly reasonable prices. The interior integrates space with colour reflecting an earthy concept. This is complemented by the myriad of renowned artists which adorn the walls of the Restaurant making The Side Door an informal food gallery, perfect to dine and mingle with friends or colleagues. The Side Door is conveniently located beside The Shelbourne Bar and can also be accessed directly from Kildare Street. The Lord Mayor’s Lounge provides a rich backdrop to two of Dublin’s oldest and finest traditions, Morning Coffee and Afternoon Tea. Afternoon tea is something of an institution within the Hotel and in Dublin itself. It reflects with care, memories of a bygone age of Edwardian gentleness. Traditional Afternoon Tea is available daily, 3.00pm – 5.30pm. The lounge is also popular for morning meetings. In addition, the lounge offers a wide variety of light dishes and sandwiches, together with a selection of coffees, teas and delicious desserts.
