Located in Shinjuku, Tokyo's most dynamic and fastest growing district, Century Hyatt Tokyo is like Tokyo itself; Western in appearance but Japanese through and through. You can see the contrast in the lobby with its seven-storey atrium, stained glass windows and magnificent European chandeliers. Yet the courteous, almost humble greeting you receive on arrival is deeply rooted in Japanese customs and traditions. In Tokyo's metropolitan commercial centre in Shinjuku, facing Shinjuku Central Park, adjacent to Tokyo's most vibrant shopping area; 90 minutes to Narita International Airport with airport bus service to and from the hotel.

ACCOMMODATION: The Century Hyatt Tokyo rises 28 floors and features 766 beautifully-appointed guest rooms and suites.

Designed with the greatest attention to guests' needs, each room is an oasis of comfort and tranquility-only the Manhattan-like skyline visible through the oversized windows reminds you that you're in the center of the world's largest metropolis. The sixth through the ninth floors are devoted to deluxe accommodations.

Each one of our 766 beautifully appointed guest rooms, including 16 suites, emphasises both comfort and functionality, providing support for the business traveller with Internet access, voicemail and fax services.

Its guest rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, satellite/cable TV, radio, IDD telephone, private bath and shower, refrigerator, voice mail and P/C hook up. Fax machine, 2-line hand-free speakerphone with data port and high speed Internet access, IPORT may be requested.

RESTAURANT: A wide range of restaurants and bars are on site. On the 27th floor is the French restaurant, Chenonceaux. On the 3rd floor is the Japanese restaurant, Kamogawa where kaiseki cuisine and tempura are on the menu. On the 1st floor are the Japanese restaurant and bar, Miyako serving sushi and a variety of light fare and sake; the Chinese restaurant, Jade Garden; and, the Italian restaurant/ristorante, Machiavelli. American and European favorites are offered in the coffee house, Boulogne, located on the Lobby floor.

A variety of fresh baked bread, pastries, cookies are available for take-out at the Cent Deux Pastry Shop on the 2nd floor. Enjoy a view of Tokyo from the 27th floor, some nightly live jazz performances and an international selection of liquors in the Rhapsody night lounge. Whiskies and liquors may also be enjoyed in the 3rd floor bar, Eau de Vie. Unwind at I'll Star, the hotel's luxury karaoke lounge on the 1st floor.

RECREATION: Recreational facilities include a heated penthouse swimming pool and gym on the 28th floor and jogging maps. Massage service is offered as well.

MEETINGS & BUSINESS FACILITIES: Secretarial, cable, telefax and printing services are available to provide business support. 23 banquet rooms and private dining rooms of various sizes are maintained to handle receptions/wedding receptions, dinners, meetings, seminars and conferences.
