| Located across the Arms Square, just a few meters from the place where the village of San Cristóbal de La Habana was founded. The magnificent mansion of the Counts of Jaruco and later of Santovenia, in 1867, it became a hotel by initiative of Mr. Luis Lay, from New Orleans, and soon became the city's favorite. More than 100 years after its inauguration, it reopened its doors with 27 rooms, 10 of which are five star plus, and a personalized service. The three-story building is decorated with works of Cuban artists and other valuable pieces to recreate the elegant ambience of the 19th century in Cuba.
