Since the resort is tucked away from the island's main road, guests feel as though they've escaped to a private, secluded hideaway - yet, they are only minutes away from the best that Bermuda has to offer. Most of the island's popular south shore beaches (Horseshoe, Warwick Long Bay and Church Bay) are a mere ten-minute ride from the resort.
Pompano is approximately 45 minutes from Bermuda's international airport and 25 minutes from the capital city of Hamilton. The resort provides complimentary shuttle van transportation to/from the bus stop (which is conveniently located at the hotel's entrance gate) and to/from the nearby Rockaway ferry stop (where you can enjoy a scenic boat ride to/from Hamilton).
Golfers love the fact that the resort is right next to Port Royal, the island's top rated public golf course (with the first tee only a 500 yard walk away) and only a ten to fifteen minute drive from three more quality golf courses (Riddell's Bay, Belmont Hills and Southampton Princess).
ACCOMMODATION: All sixty of Pompano's accommodation units offer oceanviews, with fifty-six offering panoramic oceanviews and four having partial oceanviews. Rooms and suites are clustered in one and two story pink buildings, which are spread over a hillside that is covered with lush tropical foliage. The resort has twenty-three oceanfront "deluxe" rooms, twelve oceanview "one-bedroom suites", twenty-one oceanview "superior" rooms and four partial oceanview "lower snapper" suites.
All accommodations are non-smoking. Each accommodation is individually temperature-controlled (providing both air-conditioning and heat) and decorated in a colorful, tropical décor, with a carpeted floor, rattan or wicker furniture, ceramic-tiled bathroom and a private balcony or patio.

All rooms receive twice per day maid service (once between 8:30am and 3:00pm and again in the evening - turndown service - between 7:00 and 9:30pm). Cribs and rollaway beds are available for use on a complimentary basis upon request.
WATERSPORTS: The resort's watersports center (which was completely rebuilt in February of 2004) is open daily (weather permitting) from 10am to 6pm, from early May until early October and offers a selection of different watercraft equipment.
A swim platform is anchored close to shore (just off the dock) from April through October, enabling swimmers, snorkelers and sunbathers to use it for a variety of enjoyment purposes.
CORAL REEF COFE: Located adjacent to the Pool Bar, the Coral Reef café (which is open from 12 noon to 5pm daily) is the ideal place to enjoy afternoon snacks or alfresco lunches overlooking the resort's picturesque waterfront. Taking a cue from the brilliant coral reefs which line the edge of the resort's spectacular shallow sandbar, the cafe's walls are adorned with colorful tropical fish figurines and Bermudian artwork.
"SERENITY" MASSAGE & BODY TREATMENT: Talented and personable Bermudian massage therapist, Nyland Adams, opened the doors to her "Serenity" Oceanside spa (located adjacent to the resort's fitness center) in March of 2004. She offers a wide variety of massage and body treatments (click here to see the treatments available), allowing you to indulge your senses and rejuvenate your mind and body.
The treatment room is equipped with both a shower and deepwater jet bathtub to rinse off in after some of the treatments. Treat yourself to a relaxing massage, invigorating body scrub or a stimulating mud wrap - the options are plentiful. Remember, you're on vacation and deserve to be pampered!
GOLF: The Pompano Beach Club is a golfer's paradise because the Robert Trent Jones-designed Port Royal Golf Course (which has been ranked among the top public golf courses in the world) is right next door. The first tee is only 500 yards away, and many of the resort's guest rooms have a good view of Port Royal's oceanfront 8th green.
FITNESS CENTER: The resort's oceanfront, air-conditioned fitness center (open from 7am - 11pm daily) offers the most breathtaking oceanviews of any fitness facility in Bermuda! Floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors stretch the full width of the fitness center, showcasing unobstructed views of the resort's picturesque waterfront. The other long wall has floor-to-ceiling mirrors (ensuring that you'll be treated to oceanviews no matter where you stand).
The exercise equipment (available for registered guests to use on a complimentary basis) consists of several treadmills, two Lifecycle stationary bikes, a multi-faceted weight station, stairmaster, cross-trainer, nordic track, abdominal crunch bench, aerobic mats, ankle weights, incline benches and numerous dumbbell weights (ranging from 5 to 55 pounds each). The fitness center has spacious mens and ladies restrooms, complete with showers and changing facilities - which are ideal for those departing on late afternoon flights
